Lori: To all of Daniel's supporters: Daniel is in Glacier National Park in Montana. He called last night to say he still had 15 more miles to ride to a campground and that would be 90 miles or so for the day. He decided to ride through the Park rather than around it since he didn't know when he would ever get there again. The only problem is that the road is so busy with traffic and no room for bikes that there is a rule that bikes must stay off the road from 11 am to 4 pm, so that really hampers any distance being made unless you ride all night or get up very very early. I hope Daniel woke up bright and early! Hopefully no bears take a bite out of him! Anyway, he is making his way to Shelby, Montana where our newly married daughter, Ariél lives now. Then he may get to give us a more detailed description of his travels and activities.Later... Lori
My husband Gary and I encountered the indomitable Dan on August 12 at a general store outside the entrance to Glacier National Park. Gary has been following ever since. Keep up the good work!
