Daniel called about 1:30 pm MST and he biked 16 miles up over a mountain about 6700" above sea level. He was trying to get somewhere before the curfew of "no Bikes" from 11am to 4 pm. There were terrible high winds and pouring rain. He is only in a skimpy wind breaker and shorts and is soaked clear thru including his feet. He said there was still snow on the mountain. He couldn't find a place to hang out and get warm, so he headed down into Saint Mary's. It is just a dinky town. He is trying to decide whether to bike another 60 miles to Browning or hold up for the night, but the hotel only has a couple of rooms left and they are $110 per night. He says he rode 106 miles total yesterday and already feels worse right now than he did after that. I am sure the altitude and high winds along with rain didn't help. He is sitting in a cafe drinking multiple cups of hot chocolate trying to warm up a little. I don't know how to help him, but I told him to ask for someone to sell him the jacket they are wearing if he is desparate enough to need the warmth. It is supposed to rain and have thunder showers the whole week. He is about 100 miles from our daughter, AriƩl. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. I know he chose this bike ride, but he needs more support at times like this, anyway we can give it to him. Lori
